Our Assessment: The Colt 1860 Army was historically a significant pistol, as well as a bruiser of a gun. Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None, but the original hang tag. Mechanics: The action functions as designed though we have not fired this revolver. Overall, this gun rates in about Fine condition, may clean to Excellent. The case colors are vivid and the brass has just begun to tarnish.

There are two mentionable spots of surface rust, one below the serial number on the cylinder and the other at the heel of the grip frame.
I have a lead on a cased, matched set of 2nd generation, unfired, Navy's.
